DeMarcus Lawrence Brought His Pregnant Wife To Super Bowl LX Alongside A Doctor

Super Bowl LX had everything. Big hits, big plays, big emotions, and then there was DeMarcus Lawrence, who decided the best way to win the biggest game of his life was to bring his very pregnant wife and her doctor.

Yes, the doctor came too.

While most players were locked in on coverages and game plans, Lawrence was mentally juggling sacks, blitzes, and the very real possibility of becoming a dad during the Super Bowl LX. Because why not add labor contractions to the stress list?

Sasha Lawrence showed up to Super Bowl LX heavily pregnant. That’s not “early pregnancy cute.” That’s “this baby could show up at any moment.” So DeMarcus said, ‘Cool. Let’s bring the doc just in case.’ Smart, responsible. Absolutely unhinged in the best way.

“She also brought her doctor along,” broadcaster Kaylee Hartung revealed during the championship game. “DeMarcus and his teammates had some deep conversations about what they’ll do if his wife goes into labor during this game. His teammates said, ‘It’s not guaranteed you’ll make another Super Bowl, but you can have another baby.'”

So, DeMarcus made a very tough decision.

“If she goes into labor, DeMarcus told me he will not be alerted,” Kaylee shared. “That was Sasha’s choice, so he told her, ‘Whatever you got to do, this can’t happen today.'”

Let’s be honest: this might be the most intense Super Bowl parenting move ever. Bring your pregnant wife, bring her doctor, win a championship and then go check on your unborn child.

Football is a game of inches but parenthood is a game of timing.

And DeMarcus Lawrence played both at the highest level.
