After winning Super Bowl LX, the Seattle Seahawks fans celebrated in the streets on Sunday, capping off their revenge arc after waiting more than ten years for the Patriots to be paid back.
Eleven years after losing to NE in SB XLIX, the Seahawks destroyed the Patriots in a defense-heavy matchup at Levi’s Stadium, winning 29–13.
The 12s were eager to celebrate their long-awaited retribution when they returned to Seattle, 722 miles distant, and crowded into the streets to light up downtown with fireworks.
In keeping with the traditional championship custom, a number of courageous supporters scaled the city street poles. One of them even popped a bottle of champagne while dangling from the building.

At Pioneer Square, another crazy Seahawks fan leaped from a huge pergola, but fortunately, his fellow 12s were there to catch him. The Seahawks players continued the festivities by celebrating the team’s second Super Bowl victory in a memorable way.
The excitement doesn’t end there; Lumen Field will host the Seahawks’ title parade on Wednesday. The greatest party in the city is coming up, so get ready, 12s!
