5-Year-Old Child in Bad Bunny Halftime Show Not Arrested by ICE

The 5-year-old who was arrested by ICE in Minnesota last month was not the child who received a Grammy from Bad Bunny during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Although there were many cultural allusions, cameos, and dancing during Bunny’s large concert, those who expected Benito to repeat his Grammy night with a straightforward “ICE out” statement were let down.

There was a lot of discussion on the internet about a particular moment where Benito leaned down and gave a trophy to a child. It was thought to be Liam Ramos, who was arrested outside his house on January 20 after going home from school.

According to our sources, that isn’t true at all because the child in question was Lincoln Fox Ramadan, a child actor. The gesture was made just to set an example for children to aspire to perform at the Super Bowl, as Bad Bunny did on Sunday, and had no political overtones.

On January 20, 2026, Ramos and his father were taken into custody in a Minneapolis suburb and sent to a detention center in Texas. A judge ordered their release, and they were freed on February 1.

Benito hasn’t been afraid to voice his opinions on ICE in the past, but this time around, the detention caused a great deal of outrage.
