Probation Officer Bethany Dent-Reynolds Caught Kissing Murderer Kieran Robinson During Prison Visit

Bethany Dent-Reynolds, a probation officer whose literal job was to supervise criminals, is now sitting on the other side of the bars. Why? Because she was caught kissing convicted murderer Kieran Robinson during a prison visit.

Yes, kissing, not whispering, not passing notes, and not a quick awkward side hug: a full-on lip-lock.

Somewhere in the employee handbook there is definitely a bold sentence that says, “Do not romantically engage with inmates.” It’s probably underlined.

Dent-Reynolds was supposed to be maintaining professional boundaries, instead, she apparently decided to explore, personal ones during a prison visit in a facility filled with cameras. The moment the footage surfaced, it was game over.

Public misconduct charges followed, court dates followed, and now? Jail time. The irony is thick, like, extra gravy thick.

Bethany Dent-Reynolds sent sexual messages to lag Kieran Robinson after meeting at HMP Belmarsh in South East London.

Robinson and his cousin Sean were banged up for 23 years for murdering 18-year-old Donnell Rhule in West Dulwich, South London.

Footage has now been released of the pair kissing and embracing each other at HMP Lowdham Grange.

The clip was taken on one of several of Dent-Reynolds’ visits to see Robinson at the Category B jail, Lewisham Letter reports.

It was released after Dent-Reynolds was jailed for eight months for misconduct in a public office.

The court heard she first met Robinson while working at Belmarsh Prison but their relationship did not start until she started a new job at HMP Brixton.

Robinson messaged Dent-Reynolds first on social media before she visited him several times in jail.

She even accessed restricted records about his murder case on a probation computer system and discussed her findings with him – telling him his co-defendants “all stuck it on you”.

She also told him the case was “f***ing ridiculous” and that she just wanted him “out” of prison.

Love is stronger than work code of conduct I guess.

Robinson replied: “I just want to be with you.”

Dent-Reynolds visited Robinson several times when he was moved to HMP Lowdham Grange between February and May 2024.

Prosecutor Sam Willis said: “In a nutshell, whilst working for His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service, the defendant engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a serving prisoner.

“On 12 June 2024, Kieran Robinson’s cell was searched. A letter from the defendant was recovered, as well as a diary containing the defendant’s address, mobile phone number, and Instagram username.

“The defendant’s mobile telephone was downloaded and examined. Numerous WhatsApp messages between the defendant and Kieran Robinson were found on it, including messages of a sexual nature, images of both the defendant and Robinson, and a message from Robinson asking her for a ‘favour’.”

Chantelle Stocks, defending Dent-Reynolds, said her client was of previous “impeccable good character”.

She added: “This is not a case where there has been any suggestion of in-person physical sexual contact between the pair.

“For the most part they exchanged sweet nothings that had minimal impact.”

This whole situation feels like someone confused their job description with a dating app bio. “Supervising offenders by day, smooching them by afternoon.”

At the end of the day, this isn’t some gossip, it’s a cautionary tale. Boundaries matter, professionalism matters, and maybe, just maybe, kissing convicted murderers as a Probation officer is not a career growth strategy.
