Maxx Crosby Says He’ll Bounce Back After Ravens Canceled Trade Over Medical Reasons

The NFL rumor mill is spinning faster than a treadmill at New Year’s resolution season, and this time it involved Raiders’ Maxx Crosby. Apparently, a potential move to the Baltimore Ravens was on the table until it suddenly wasn’t. Why? Medical reasons.

Yes, the dreaded two words that can stop a blockbuster trade faster than a Wi-Fi outage during the Super Bowl.

Reports say the Ravens pulled the plug after reviewing Crosby’s medical evaluation. That’s basically the NFL version of saying, “We like you, but we’re gonna swipe left for now.”

But Crosby doesn’t seem too worried. In fact, he sounds like a guy who is already planning his revenge tour.

His agent, CJ LaBoy, released a statement that had strong “don’t worry, we’ll be back” energy. According to LaBoy, Crosby is recovering just fine and will return during the offseason program ready to dominate the league.

Maxx Crosby‘s camp responded quickly, and his agent CJ LaBoy released a statement stressing that the recovery timeline following knee surgery performed by Dr. Neal El Attrache remains positive and ahead of schedule.

“Maxx continues to be on track in his recovery and if anything is ahead of schedule, according to his surgeon Dr. Neal El Attrache,” read agent CJ LaBoy’s statement on X. “Maxx remains on track to return during the offseason program & will undoubtedly return as the dominant game wrecker he has been these past 7 seasons.”

However the failed trade has complicated Las Vegas Raiders’ offseason strategy, and team leadership reportedly met Tuesday night, discussing whether to pursue other offers or shift back toward keeping Maxx Crosby as a centerpiece.

If Crosby really does come back healthy and angry, the rest of the league might have a problem. An already relentless defender with something to prove is basically nightmare fuel for offensive coordinators.

Imagine trying to block a player who is both talented and motivated by pure spite? Good luck with that.

For now, Crosby seems focused on recovery and preparing for the offseason program. If his agent’s statement is any indication, he plans to remind everyone exactly why he’s one of the most feared defenders in football.

So yes, the trade didn’t happen, but the revenge tour? That might just be getting started.
