Ivana Lisette Ortiz Arrested For Shooting At Rihanna’s Mansion While Singer Was At Home

According to reports, a woman has been arrested after allegedly firing an AR-15-style rifle at the mansion of global superstar Rihanna while the singer was inside. Yes, inside, not at brunch, not at a Fenty meeting.

Imagine sitting at home, minding your business, maybe listening to a few hits from your own catalog, when suddenly someone decides your mansion is a shooting range. Welcome to another bizarre celebrity headline.

The incident reportedly happened at Rihanna’s luxury residence in Los Angeles, where the woman allegedly opened fire and sent at least one bullet straight through a wall of the mansion, because apparently knocking on the door like a normal person was simply not dramatic enough.

Police say the bullet actually pierced part of the wall of the property. That’s right. A literal hole in Rihanna’s house. Somewhere out there, a contractor is probably preparing a very unusual repair job: “Cause of damage? Celebrity-targeted rifle incident.”

Authorities are now working to determine a motive. A source told the Post that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna ‘don’t know much’ and they’re in the dark as to why this happened.

Photos from the scene showed yellow police tape outside the singer’s home. LAPD officers were also seen closing off the street near the star’s property.

Rihanna was home at the time of the shooting. Los Angeles police said officers responded to reports of gunfire around 1:21 p.m. and quickly took a female suspect into custody.

A source close to the family told the Post, ‘they are all doing okay.’ No one was injured, according to LAPD.

A$AP Rocky was not home at the time of the shooting, a family source confirmed to the Post.

Things could have been bloody if Rihanna was taking a stroll around her mega mansion.

Police say the suspect fired between seven and nine rounds from an AR-15-style rifle. Four of the rounds struck the house. Investigators were seen examining an Airstream trailer parked in the home’s driveway according to NBC LA.

LAPD radio dispatch said several shots were fired at the home from a vehicle parked across the street from the property’s gate. The suspect then sped off in a white Tesla, heading south on Coldwater Canyon Drive, according to the dispatch audio.

As police searched for the Tesla, they relayed details over the radio: the suspect’s hair was in braids; she wore a cream-colored blouse; her car was dirty on the bottom, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The suspect was later caught and arrested at a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks about 30 minutes after the 911 call came in, according to the Times. She has been described as a 30-year-old woman by the LA Times, other outlets describe her as a woman in her 30s.

As for Rihanna, she remains unharmed and still very much thriving. The mansion might have a new hole in the wall, but knowing Rihanna, she’ll probably just turn it into a design feature and move on.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are left wondering one thing: how does someone wake up and decide, “You know what today needs? Shooting at Rihanna’s house.”
