According to reports, Offset tried to request a DNA test involving Cardi B and a child allegedly connected to Stefon Diggs. Yes, you read that right, because nothing says “peaceful divorce” like dragging extra people into the mix and asking for paternity tests.
The judge, however, basically looked at that request and said, “Absolutely not.” And honestly? You could almost hear the eye roll through the courtroom.
Divorce proceedings are supposed to be about splitting assets, custody, and moving on with your life, not turning into an episode of “Who’s the Father?” But here we are.
TMZ obtained a court order issued in Cardi and Offset’s divorce case on February 25, 2026 … and in it, the judge denied the ex-Migos rapper’s request for a DNA test on the baby, but the paternity request he wanted for another child of Cardi’s was granted.
The dates of birth of the children are redacted in the order, but one is described as a “newborn,” so that’s gotta be Stefon’s kid, who was born in November. The last child Offset and Cardi had together was born in 2024.
The order also prohibits Offset and Cardi from making any disparaging or defamatory remarks about each other on social media or in interviews.
Cardi filed for divorce in 2024 and asked for primary custody of their kids. The two initially split in 2020 but reconciled soon after. Any rekindling this time around seems highly unlikely … considering Offset was questioning the paternity of Cardi’s kids.
The judge’s decision sends a pretty clear message: keep it relevant, keep it reasonable, and maybe, just maybe, leave the wild theories out of legal filings.
At the end of the day, this divorce continues to deliver drama at an elite level, but one thing is certain: the courtroom is not here for unnecessary plot twists.
And Offset? Yes, that DNA request didn’t just miss, it got completely blocked.
