Stefon Diggs is clearly not in the mood for extra paperwork. The NFL star is pushing back hard against requests from his accuser, Christopher Blake Griffith, who apparently wants more information about Diggs’ football money, contracts, and income records as part of their ongoing legal battle.
And Diggs’ response basically boils down to this: “Why are we talking about my paycheck?”
According to court filings, Diggs asked the judge to block Griffith’s request for more documents related to his NFL earnings. The NFL player argued that his football income has absolutely nothing to do with the case because he is not claiming he lost any NFL money due to the allegations.
In other words, Diggs is saying everybody needs to stop acting like they’re accountants at tax season.
The wide receiver argued that enough information has already been handed over and that Griffith simply not liking the answers isn’t a valid reason to keep digging deeper into his finances.
And honestly, the wording coming from Diggs’ side sounds like someone getting tired of repeated customer service emails.
As TMZ first reported, Christopher claims he went to a basketball game with Stefon in May 2023. He said he went to Stefon’s home afterward, where he said the NFL star allegedly drugged and assaulted him.
Christopher claims Stefon coordinated an assault against him days later. Stefon denies the claims.
In court docs, Stefon said he went to bed after returning home and did not assault Christopher.
The judge has yet to rule on whether Stefon has to produce docs related to his NFL contract.
The legal fight itself continues getting messier by the week. Every new filing turns into another online debate where amateur lawyers suddenly appear with opinions nobody asked for.
And through it all, Diggs seems determined to draw a hard line when it comes to his football money.
Whether the judge agrees is another story entirely, but one thing is clear: Diggs is treating requests for his NFL paperwork the same way elite cornerbacks treat bad routes.
