Jaxson Dart, a quarterback for the New York Giants, has recently made headlines because of his relationship with President Donald Trump.
At a campaign event at Rockland Community College on May 22, Dart presented Trump. Many NFL fans were not pleased with that choice. Abdul Carter, a pass rusher with the Giants, was likewise offended by his teammate’s endorsement of the current US president.
In a sit-down interview with Fox News, Trump discussed all of the criticism Dart is facing. Trump stated:
“So, when Jaxson gets harassed a little bit, he’s also loved more,” “Because we have more people than they do. And a lot of the people that you think, like people in Los Angeles, wealthy people that I see them all the time there, hitting me a little bit, and they meet me, they say, ‘Sir, I voted for you.’ I said, ‘I know. I know. I can tell.’ Guys voted for me.”
