Kay’La Lillard, the ex-wife of NBA star Damian Lillard, has issued a subpoena to a woman she believes may have had a child with the Portland Trail Blazers guard, court documents show.
The subpoena, obtained by TMZ and filed in connection with ongoing legal matters, targets Justie Wolf and seeks information about Wolf’s child, named Aura. Kay’La Lillard is requesting copies of any communications between Lillard and Wolf regarding the child, messages exchanged around the time Lillard allegedly learned he might be the father, any paternity test results, any related nondisclosure agreements and photographs of Lillard with the child.
Wolf is opposing the subpoena, according to the documents.
Lillard filed for divorce from Kay’La Lillard in October 2023 in Clackamas County Circuit Court, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple, who married in 2021, share three children. The divorce has been described in prior reports as finalized, though the new filing indicates continued court activity involving the family.

In family law proceedings — including post-divorce matters such as child support modifications or custody-related disputes — courts generally permit discovery tools like subpoenas when the requested information is relevant to issues before the court.

Confirming or ruling out another child can be material to arguments about changed circumstances, support adjustments or evaluations of a parent’s situation.
Subpoenas to third parties are a standard mechanism in these cases when direct information from one spouse is insufficient or disputed. The opposing party can challenge the scope, as Wolf has done here.
