Prison Release Date for Diddy Has Been Moved up Again

Diddy will now be released from federal custody on February 23, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website. This is the most recent modification to his expected release date.

Combs’ anticipated release date has been gradually advanced by a series of changes, which are continued with this update. The Federal Bureau of Prisons stated earlier this year that he would be released on April 15, 2028. Prior to that, April 25, 2028 and, before, June 4, 2028 were listed.

Combs has been taking part in a drug-abuse recovery program while detained at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, although the Bureau of Prisons has not made the most recent alteration public. Due to the facility’s therapeutic programs and its proximity to family, his attorneys had previously requested placement there.

Following a federal trial in New York this summer, the 56-year-old was found guilty on two charges of transportation to participate in prostitution and is currently receiving a 50-month term. He was cleared by jurors of more serious accusations, such as racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

Last December, his lawyers filed a formal appeal of both his conviction and sentence, claiming that the court’s punishment was disproportionate and that the sexual encounters at the heart of the case were consensual.
