Makenzi Kern, whose untimely death at Tyrese Haliburton‘s fiancée, Jade Jones’ bachelorette, stunned loved ones, has funeral services scheduled.
Her obituary states that visiting services will take place at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. The same location will host a memorial service honoring her life on Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 PM.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to organizations and causes that held particular significance for Makenzi.
Makenzi spent a significant portion of her life serving the public by working at the YMCA of Greater Omaha prior to her passing.
While at Jade’s bachelorette party in St. Barts on June 8, Makenzi passed away due to health issues. According to what we’ve been told, Makenzi’s family does not believe that drink, drugs, or foul play contributed to her demise.
Makenzi and Jade had been friends since their time as cheerleaders at Iowa State University, and they stayed close even after they graduated.
Jade honored her buddy after the tragedy, referring to her as “a light in this world.” “We will always love and miss you, Kenz,” Tyrese remarked. I will always be grateful for you.
There’s no news on whether Tyrese and Jade intend to go to the funeral.
