Hornets’ Royce O’Neale And Power Actress Paige Hurd Tie The Knot In Lavish Ceremony

Charlotte Hornets forward Royce O’Neale and Power actress Paige Hurd are officially husband and wife.

The couple said “I do” in a lavish ceremony on Saturday, July 18, at the stunning Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York.

The venue looked like something straight out of a fairy tale. Oheka Castle, a massive French-inspired chateau, served as the perfect backdrop for the big day. It had elegant gardens, grand staircases, and enough luxury to make your wallet cry just by looking at the pictures.

Paige, best known for her role in Power Book II: Ghost, looked absolutely stunning. The 34-year-old actress walked down the aisle looking like she had stepped off a movie set. Royce cleaned up nicely too. Basketball jerseys were replaced with a sharp tuxedo, and for one day, he wasn’t trying to block shots. He was trying not to mess up his wedding vows.

For Hurd and O’Neale, the dreamy nuptials were everything they hoped for. “A fairy tale that still felt like us — a chateau full of candlelight and every person we love, dancing until the lights came up,” says the actress.

The weekend celebration kicked off with a “Texas hoedown” welcome party set against the rustic backdrop of the Historic Barn at Old Bethpage. Each guest was gifted with their own cowboy hat and bandana, a hometown tribute to the couple’s Texas roots.

The following day, the bride and groom exchanged both traditional vows as as well as heartfelt personal vows they wrote for each other. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Tyrone Holcomb and began in the castle’s formal fountain gardens.

Friends, family, and celebrity guests gathered to celebrate the happy couple. The event had everything you would expect from a Hollywood-meets-NBA wedding.

Hurd made her entrance from the top of the chateau’s stone staircase before walking down the aisle in a Galia Lahav dress, carrying an all-white bouquet of peonies, hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus and stock.

Escorted by her father, Charlie, Hurd walked to a song she commissioned for the day. The piece was a bespoke string arrangement of “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” by her late godfather, DMX, combined with the traditional “Wedding March.” A live string ensemble performed the song, while a gospel choir sang along.

After Hurd and O’Neale exchanged vows, the choir led all 221 guests out to cocktail hour. Some of the couple’s famous friends, including Jonathan Majors, Meagan Good, Coco Jones, Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson, attended the starry celebration.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. O’Neale. May their marriage be filled with happiness, laughter, and fewer technical fouls than an NBA game.
