Kim Kardashian has expanded her collection of expensive cars, but this one focuses more on rustic appeal than exotic performance.
The reality actress and businesswoman recently paid about $285,000 for a custom-built 1973 Ford Bronco from Florida-based Velocity Restorations.
Kardashian reportedly picked out the antique car especially for her vacation residence in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
The Bronco was shipped to Idaho from Los Angeles a few weeks ago, and Kardashian just posted pictures of it parked outside her lakeside house on Instagram.
According to reports, Kardashian made the purchase after learning about Velocity Restorations via her brother-in-law, Travis Barker, a client of the business. Kardashian was able to buy a model that was finished and ready for delivery right away instead of having to wait through the builder’s typical 14 to 16-week manufacturing timeline.
The Bronco, which has a forest green exterior, combines classic design elements with contemporary improvements. It has a wood steering wheel, a Tuffy center console, ProCar high-back seats, a vintage-style air conditioning system, and a Ranger Brown interior.
Additionally, the rear passengers ride beneath an open-air part behind the driver’s covered seating area, and the cabin lacks carpeting for a more rough feel.
