Pilar Sanders knows how to make an entrance.
The ex-wife of Deion Sanders and mother of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders showed up to her son’s preseason game Saturday and quickly became part of the conversation.
Apparently, watching football is not always just about watching football.
Pilar arrived at the game wearing an outfit that had fans talking. Plenty of people loved the look, others were not nearly as impressed, and the internet did what it does best and turned a football game into a fashion debate.
Some fans thought Pilar looked fantastic, others clearly believed they had been hired as the official outfit police.
She did not seem particularly bothered. Pilar was there to support Shedeur as he continued his preseason work with the Browns. Unfortunately for Cleveland, the afternoon did not exactly go according to plan.

The Browns lost to the Buffalo Bills 31-7 in their second preseason game.
The outfit worn by Pilar Sanders, which can be seen in full here, sparked a lot of reactions on social media.
Most NFL fans seemed to like it.
“Wowowowowo,” one fan wrote.
“Stunning! So beautiful,” one fan added.
“Absolutely love to see this,” one added.
Not everyone loved it, though. Some accused the mom of the NFL quarterback of attention-seeking behavior and the outfit.
“I was embarrassed as a high school hockey goalie when my mom was shouting things. I can’t imagine being a professional QB and having your mother go viral like this,” one fan wrote.
“The Browns were the ONLY team that took a chance on him and if it wasn’t for them, he was going undrafted because of the circus that was going to come with him. This is EXACTLY why he fell,” one fan added.
“Inappropriate for an NFL mom,” one fan shared.
Shedeur is entering a major chapter in his football career with the Browns. Every preseason snap matters as he works to establish himself at the NFL level.
The Browns may have lost badly Saturday, but the Sanders family still had something to celebrate.
Pilar showed up, supported her son, and she looked confident doing it.
