Bobbi Althoff Goes Viral Spoofing Sydney Sweeney’s “Just Sports” Commercial

A kitchen video of podcaster Bobbi Althoff circulating Monday night has gone viral. It is a spoof of Sydney Sweeney’s “Just Sports” ad, built to look close enough that clip pages and commenters ran with it anyway.

The clip shows Althoff in a black bra and lace underwear in a modern kitchen. She holds a football, juggles tennis balls, drinks from a bottle, then poses with a pink basketball and a baseball. Sunglasses drop from her head to her face. The gag copies Sweeney’s sports-prop concept almost beat for beat.

Althoff, 29, is the California-born host of “The Really Good Podcast,” the deadpan interview show that broke through after a 2023 Drake episode. She started as a TikTok mom creator, then became a celebrity interviewer. She and Cory Althoff divorced in 2024. She has also been the target of viral AI deepfakes, including a 2024 explicit video she called “100% not me.” A new lingerie clip of her arrives in that history, which is why a Sweeney parody can travel as if it were a press release.

Sweeney’s Novig spot is the template the spoof is mining. Released Sept. 9, the “Novig Is Just Sports” campaign shows the “Euphoria” actress nearly nude, covering herself with footballs, basketballs, hockey gear and other equipment while pitching a sports-prediction platform in which she also has an equity stake. The ad drew tens of millions of views and a backlash from female athletes, including British sprinter Amy Hunt and Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus, who said it sexualized women’s sport. Novig and Sweeney have called the campaign playful and sports-only. The argument has not cooled. That heat is the reason a lookalike kitchen video of another recognizable woman could rack up views in hours.

The thirst posts arrived first.

“Idgaf what they talking bout she’s sexy asl,” one user wrote under the viral video. Others were direct: “She’s so hot.” “Ngl I would.” Reply threads lingered on her body, including jokes about a “new body.” That is the same male-gaze market Novig already tapped with Sweeney. A spoof does not need a media-buy to harvest that audience. It only needs the silhouette.

Then came the ex-husband and Drake jokes.

Althoff’s personal life is still part of her public brand. “Her ex husband gotta be baffled,” one user posted. “She standing in the kitchen in her underwear doing gambling ads damn man.” A quote-tweet added, “I understand why Drake ended her marriage man.” Those lines mash her 2024 divorce, old rumors around the Drake interview, and the idea that a lingerie turn is a clout play. They are gossip, not reporting. They also explain the clip’s speed: it attached a known internet character to a live culture fight.

Copycat talk was almost as loud as the compliments.

“Bobbi Althoff is trying to look like Sydney Sweeney,” one user wrote, pairing the line with side-by-sides. That is the joke the spoof is selling. Sweeney’s ad proved a barely dressed sports-prop concept can mint attention. Engagement accounts reached for the next recognizable woman who could wear the same bit. Whether the video is a handmade parody or an AI mock-up, the audience already knew the punchline.
