LiAngelo Ball dropped a new music video Friday for his song “Ball Row,” and he did not do it alone. His older brother, NBA guard Lonzo Ball, makes an appearance in the video.
Apparently, one Ball brother taking over the internet at a time was never enough.
LiAngelo has been making noise in music for some time. He has built a separate identity as a rapper while coming from one of the most recognizable basketball families in the country.

Now he is adding another music video to the résumé. And yes, Lonzo is right there for the family cameo.
LiAngelo Ball‘s music career took off after the success of his January 2025 single, “Tweaker,” which hit No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached platinum status after hitting one million digital units sold.
Later in Jan. 2025, Ball, who performs under the name “Gelo,” signed a deal with Def Jam Recordings worth up to $13 million ($8 million guaranteed). He released a studio album, League of My Own, in July 2025.
The video arrives at an interesting time for LiAngelo as he continues building his music profile. He has already shown that he does not want to be defined only by his famous last name.
Still, having the last name Ball probably does not hurt.
There is already a built-in audience. That is called good marketing.
So while Lonzo continues his basketball journey, LiAngelo is working on his music.
Different careers, same family, same spotlight.
And apparently, the Ball brothers still have plenty of content left in the tank.
At this point, we should probably stop asking what the Ball family will do next. They clearly enjoy keeping everyone guessing.
