Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Herro’s former girlfriend, Katya Elise Henry, has challenged his account of parenting time in new court documents, alleging he exercised only limited overnight visits with their two children after their separation, according to TMZ.
In the filings, obtained by TMZ and reported Oct. 14, Henry states that Herro had only a handful of overnight visits with the children from March 2025 until she filed her case. That assertion contrasts with Herro’s earlier statements to the court that the children had stayed overnight with him since the couple split.
Henry has described herself as the primary caregiver who made most major decisions for the children. She said shared parental responsibility would be in their best interests only if she holds “ultimate decision-making authority” regarding health, education and extracurricular activities. She acknowledged that Herro has provided support since the children’s births, but limited that agreement specifically to financial support rather than broader caregiving.
The former couple share a daughter born in 2021 and a son born in 2023. They ended a nearly seven-year relationship in early 2025. Court records previously reported by TMZ indicate Henry and the children moved out of Herro’s Miami residence in February 2025 after living there from September 2021 through January 2025.
Earlier in the case, Henry requested “safeguards and parameters” around Herro’s parenting time, citing unspecified “historical conduct” that she said she intentionally omitted from the filing “out of respect.” Herro denied those characterizations and has proposed either equal parenting time or an arrangement giving him the majority of time with the children. Both sides filed petitions around Aug. 20; Herro dismissed his own case shortly afterward.
Herro, traded from the Miami Heat, is preparing for his first season with the Bucks. Henry remains in Miami. Neither party has publicly commented beyond the court filings. The case remains active in Miami.
