Lonzo Ball has apparently collected another story from his Chicago days. And this one sounds less like an NBA memory and more like an episode of Cops: Apartment Edition.
The former NBA player recently shared a wild story about an apartment building where things got seriously interesting downstairs. According to Lonzo, there was some bleeding bodies on the floor.
Apparently, living in Chicago was not just about basketball, practice and figuring out where to eat after a game.
Sometimes, you got front-row seats to police activity.

Lonzo narrated the story while talking about his experiences in Chicago. The details painted a pretty chaotic picture. There were cops downstairs, there were arrests happening, and there was enough going on to make anyone wonder whether they had accidentally walked into the middle of a crime documentary.
Imagine being upstairs trying to mind your business, then you hear all that noise downstairs.
At that point, the natural reaction is probably, “Let me stay exactly where I am.”
Nobody needs that kind of excitement before breakfast.
Lonzo’s story also highlights the unusual situations NBA players can encounter away from the court. Fans usually see the glamorous side of professional basketball. Big arenas, luxury hotels, expensive cars and designer clothes.
But sometimes the real-life stories are much less glamorous.
You can be an NBA player and still find yourself looking out of a window wondering why there are several police officers outside.
And let’s be honest, that is probably not the kind of Chicago tour anyone puts on a brochure.
