Earlier we reported on the alleged dust up Cardinals teammates Kerry Rhodes and Darnell Dockett had regarding whether or not the Jets should be allowed to score a touchdown late in the game Sunday.
Today Rhodes emailed the Arizona Republic, and categorically denied that Dockett spit in his face, but did admit they had a disagreement.
“Yes, we had a disagreement on the field but, no he did NOT spit in my face,” Rhodes said in an email released by the team Tuesday. “I’m not going to get into all the details because I think those are things you keep within the team. But Darnell and I talked after the game, we’re both moving on and I’ll leave it at that.”
Dockett’s agent Drew Rosenhaus also interjected himself in the scenario, and spoke for Dockett.
“I don’t think (we) will be commenting at this time as it is an internal team matter.”
Well everything is well in Arizona, except we can’t understand why Dockett hasn’t spoken or did any denying if he didn’t spit.
