Luckily for John Harbaugh, he got his contract extended before his Ravens were throttled by the Denver Broncos on the opening night of the NFL season.
Harbaugh does have ring protection now, and a new contract to go with it.
The Ravens and Harbaugh agreed to a new four-year contract that runs through 2016 according to Ian Rapoport.

The new contract reportedly will pay Harbaugh nearly $7 million per year through 2016, according to Pro Football Talk.
