The announcers and I am sure a lot of fans were wondering what was the ailment that kept Lacy out for a part of overtime.
We now have our answer courtesy of Pro Football Talk.
The Packers rookie running back was stopped by an asthma attack. It’s a condition he dealt with since he was young, but it wasn’t as much of an issue growing up in Louisiana.
“It’s worse in the winter time,” Lacy said, via Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I’ve had it since I was little. Sometimes it’s worse than others.”
Green Bay is a tough place to play if you have breathing problems, so they have to make sure Lacy is getting the proper oxygen throughout the game.
