Despite losing DeMarcus Ware, Jason Hatcher and Sean Lee (torn anterior cruciate ligament), Jerry Jones is very optimistic about the potential for the 2014 Cowboys defense.
Jones believes the defense will be better in 2014 than it was in 2013 when it finished last in the league in yards allowed. His reason for being optimistic, the Cowboys “can’t be any worse.”
“Because we were so bad last year, there’s no place but up,” Jones said.
They made a few upgrades by signing Henry Melton, Jeremy Mincey, Terrell McClain and Amobi Okoye.
