What do commissioners of multi-billion dollar sports leagues do when their sport is not in season? Apparently not much, which is why NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had plenty of time to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge that has been circulating around the web over the past few weeks.
The challenge is simple, a person get called out by someone who has successfully completed the challenge. If that person do not respond within 24 hours they must donate to the charity of their choice.
The challenge was started by Pete Frates; former Boston College baseball player who was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Since his video went viral millions of others have decided to participate. According to the ALS association they have collected over 4 million dollars in donations since July 29th.
