Tom Brady has a lot of love for his former teammate in Denver, Wes Welker.
But on the heels of Welker being suspended four games by the league for popping a ‘molly’ at the Kentucky Derby, the Patriots cerebral assassin, and star quarterback has no interest in discussing Welker’s situation.
“I don’t have a lot of thoughts or comments on that,” Brady said, via Karen Guregian of theBoston Herald. “That’s Wes’ situation, and their team. Obviously, I’ve got plenty to worry about with this week and this team. As a friend, you always hope the best. But, this is not friend time. It’s opponent time. My focus is on the Dolphins.”
Brady, who was at the Derby with Welker, was asked if he saw his former teammate take anything?
He laughed, then said: “I got no comment on that, no.”
