After being deactivated for the Minnesota Vikings game Sunday against the New England Patriots, Adrian Peterson, indicted early Friday on child abuse charges, has reportedly turned himself into authorities according to ESPN.
Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson turned himself in to Montgomery County, Texas, authorities early Saturday morning, according to multiple media reports.
He was booked into the Montgomery County jail at 1:06 a.m. CT; his $15,000 bond is expected to be posted shortly, according to KPRC-TV in Houston.
This entire situation has gone from bad to worse for Peterson within a matter of hours. Needless to say, this hasn’t been a good week for the NFL in the PR department.
