Stan Kroenke, and the Rams have taken another step towards a potential move. Be it from the city of St. Louis, MO to Los Angeles, CA, or just to an upgraded stadium in the St. Louis area the Rams have all but concluded, a move is eminent.
Monday the Rams notified the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Committee that they will be switching to a year to year lease option as we learn by way of si.com.
Switching to a year to year lease will give the Rams the ability to pick up and leave from their current stadium, the Edward Jones Dome, to take residence elsewhere when they see fit.
Rams owner Stan Kroenke owns land in Los Angeles, and plans to at least build a stadium there. Time will only tell if the Rams vacate St. Louis for Los Angeles, but if they do at least they got to witness the Greatest Show on Turf’s Super Bowl victory.
