High School games tend to get heated from time to time. You have a bunch of testosterone filled adolescents competing for in game supremacy. Fights are bound to happen.
What should never happen however, are parents involving themselves in altercations, pitting themselves against children, or even displaying behavior unbecoming of parental role models, and that’s exactly what happened during this game.
As we learn from ABC 7 Chicago, adults quickly became involved in the teenage altercation after a Griffith player was fouled hard into the padded wall.
The brawl was so bad that police had to be called in to restore order, and the game was subsequently cancelled.
