The NCAA will ban whatever that doesn’t benefit them; they have shown this to be true many times.
LSU running back, Leonard Fournette, wanted to do something amazing for the flood victims of SC after Hurricane Joaquin. Fournette wanted to auction off his jersey and in turn, all the proceeds would benefit the victims, but of course, the NCAA put an immediate stop to it per Fournette.
#LSU RB Leonard Fournette says the NCAA will not allow him to auction his jersey for the SC flooding relief. "Violation," he said.

Fournette rushed for 158 yds with a touchdown in the Tigers 45-24 win against the Gamecocks. In his post interview, Fournette spoke of the state of SC and offered his jersey to help raise money. An athlete like this is one to be remembered. He didn’t use his time in front of the camera to be selfish, but instead wanted to help a state thats in much need.
