From what I understand, Kirby Smart wanted to see what happened with UGA first before moving on with South Carolina

All week long I have heard that Kirby Smart is the man coming in to replace Richt. Will be interesting to see if that happens.

Smart is a Georgia alum, and has passed up several jobs over the years, but it will be hard to pass on this opportunity if he is offered it.
Smart was already under heavy consideration for the South Carolina job, so it definitely looks like he will be moving on after this season in Tuscaloosa.
