A new video released by TMZ shows that San Francisco Giant fan Bryan Stow, who was beaten after a game at Dodger Stadium two months ago, was not so innocent in the attack.
Following the beating, Stow was in a medically induced coma for weeks and fans from both organizations wished him their condolences through a Facebook page and even both the Dodger and Giants organizations gave their well wishes.
But, as my IfFansCouldTalk.com story suggested on April 4, he wasn’t an innocent bystander who just happened to get beat up by young thugs outside of a rival team’s baseball stadium.
The video released today by TMZ shows Stow in a heated verbal confrontation with Dodger fan Juan Banda, who claims he is not a suspect in the case. According to TMZ, Banda gave his side of the story to police this morning when they visited his home — that Bryan incited him, claiming he’d “rather eat his own feces than eat a Dodger dog.”
Giovanni Ramirez has been arrested as a prime suspect in this case already, but police are still looking for the other suspects who were involved.
Who knows what Stow said that the cameras didn’t catch, which might have incited the Dodger fans to attack him after the game. He might have threw a few jabs that were below the belt, which doesn’t warrant his attack, but takes away his complete innocence in the case.
