Kevin Durant’s ownership of a restaurant in Oklahoma City ended kind of like the Cleveland Browns or Colts tenures did back in the day — just picking up and leaving.
Thunder fans have no interest in eating food served by a Warriors star — so Kevin Durant’s old OKC restaurant “Kd’s” has been re-branded by the ‘Legacy Grill” — and will re-open in September.
Hal Smith – the restaurant’s founder and CEO says the venue’s new theme will feature more than 200 prominent Oklahoma figures according to News9.
“Being founded and headquartered here in central Oklahoma, we’ve wanted to introduce a concept like this for a long time,” said Hal Smith, the restaurant group’s founder and CEO. “Whether guests are old friends or are dining with us for the first time, we think they’ll enjoy our combination of upscale comfort food, top-notch service and a fun, engaging atmosphere.”
Durant is unlikely to be one of those “notable Oklahomans” — but a final decision wasn’t revealed in the press release.
