The question has been asked all afternoon, did this Buffalo police officer, purposely stand behind a kneeling Colin Kaepernick and salute during the National Anthem?
Before Sunday’s 49ers vs. Bills game in Buffalo — amid vitriol outside the stadium — Colin Kaepernick did his normal pre-game kneel to protest the National Anthem — but this time with an attention seeking cop standing right behind him.
Kaepernick made his first start of the season, and was joined in protest by teammates Eli Harold and Eric Reid.
On Sunday, there were several officers near the trio, with one choosing to stand and salute, directly behind Kaepernick.
