The 2016-2017 season is thankfully already in the past and it’s something that they Jets don’t need to relive again. Muhammad Wilkerson went on record and said that the Jets will improve this upcoming season.
There were a few games in which I would’ve loved to have seen the ratings, especially when the Jets played the Rams and lost that game 9-6. One thing’s for sure-a huge shout out to the fans who stuck around till the very last play this past season.
Many folks were shocked that they drafted a safety in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft but the team is on to something. We can almost feel their improvement but there are multiple gaps on the roster. Confidence is needed but what Muhammad Wilkerson is displaying goes beyond confidence. He said that the Jets will improve from their 5-11 record.
“The team will definitely be positive and do more things better than we did last year, I can guarantee that,” Wilkerson told reporters before the United Way of New York City Gridiron Gala. “We’ll have more wins than we did last year and that’s a fact.”
Wilkerson and his straight facts.
Just a couple of days ago, Michael Vick wished the team good luck. There’s a whole lot of fixing that the team needs but it’s great to know that their confidence doesn’t need fixing.
