Charles Barkley hosted Saturday Night Live for the fourth time yet still found fumbling some lines in his monologue before using the platform to great effect. Barkley’s monologue focused on athletes that speak out on important issues per Uproxx’s Andrew Roberts after recent comments made by Fox News host Laura Ingraham where she told LeBron James to “shut up and dribble.”
Barkley says there is nothing wrong with athletes speaking out on social issues. The former NBA star referred to himself as the perfect example because he has always said what he wants to say throughout his career. Barkley once famously said, “I am not a role model,” yet still finds himself hosting SNL for the fourth time.
Barkley decided to poke fun at LeBron James and stated that dribbling is the fourth thing that the Cavaliers superstar is great at, right behind making his hairline magically reappear. He also doesn’t want LeBron to ever shut up in regards to social issues.
