Elon Musk is at work developing a plan to eliminate “Soul Destroying Traffic” in Los Angeles, and it will only cost users a one dollar per ride.
Hosting a town-hall style meeting in Brentwood, Musk gave attendees a first look at preliminary plans to create an underground train system, called The Loop, that will transport riders from downtown Los Angeles to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in eight minutes.
(A miraculous feet if you’re familiar with LA traffic).
According to a report by ABC 7 News, the train would be reportedly be dug at a minimum of 30 feet to 60 feet underground, way below utilities.
“You won’t hear us. You won’t see us. You won’t feel us. You won’t even know we even exist,” said Steve Davis, with the Boring Company.
The Loop would be composed of all-electric pods transporting 16 passengers at a time to and from parking-spot sized stations.
