Jalen Ramsey aka the “Sas God” is 4 weeks away from the start of training camp, and I could not imagine a better time for him to start running his mouth. His latest victim, Jimmy Garappolo, the saint who saved the Bay. Today on NFL Network, Ramsey said that his fellow players were wrong to put Garoppolo in the Top 100 players in the NFL, and that we have not seen enough just yet.
“What did he play, five games? He has good potential, I think he’ll be a good player, but my experience in playing him, it was a lot of scheme stuff. It wasn’t like he was just dicing us up,” Ramsey said. “Nobody got to scheme on him this year. There was not a lot of film on him.”
While Jalen Ramsey might have a point, right now there are a few shinning lights in the NFL, keeping it from being vacant. Jimmy Garrappolo light shinned so bright last year, the Bay Area forgot about Derrick Carr and the underachieving Las Vegas Raiders. I would know, I live in San Francisco and work for the Raiders Radio affiliate. The topic of conversation changed with Jimmy G. Jalen Ramsey might have a point in his criticism, just know the NFL and its employees will always ride for what has the most longevity.
