Lamar Odom is back in the gym getting in basketball shape as he’s planning to participate in the combine in order to join the Big 3 next summer. It’s good to see him back in the gym after health issues three years ago which almost took his life.
Odom recently spoke with TMZ Sports and said that the Big 3 is definitely the plan. When asked about playing alongside Kobe Bryant, he said it’s very far-fetched. Big 3 owner Ice Cube already tried to recruit Kobe to join the league. When asked about which player he wants to play with in the Big 3 now though, Odom said his choice is former Clippers teammate Cuttino Mobely. Mobely played in the NBA from 1998-2008 and was most known for his tenure with the Rockets and Clippers.
It’ll be interesting to see how Odom plays next summer. He’ll definitely have a lot of time to work on his game until then. Flip the page for his thoughts on joining the Big 3, Cuttino Mobely, Kobe Bryant, and former teammate Derek Fisher becoming the new head coach of the Los Angeles Sparks.
