Another Giant loss in New York.
Wide receiver Corey Coleman was confirmed done for the season after he tore his ACL during Thursday’s training camp. Now, they lose the other reciever Golden Tate but not due to injury
Accordingly to Adam Schefter, Tate violated the NFL’s performance enhancement drug policy. It’s a four game suspension and Tate plans to appeal.
Tate claims the substance found in the failed tests was from a fertility treatment his specialist gave him and his wife. They started seeing the specialist back in April.
If he wins the appeal, it will be right before the regular season starts. Four game suspension may not seem a whole lot for some teams but for the Giants, it is.
