Reactions to Dana White’s roast of Tom Brady were divided because the comedian begins with a joke that divides opinion. However, as the roast continued, he was able to pull it back and give Brady a couple sharp jabs in the 60 seconds that Netflix gave him.

His joke on Tom Brady’s running style was maybe the greatest. With one phrase, the Boston man got the whole Bay Area. For anyone who would like to be reminded of it, here is a video:

It also turns out that none other than the renowned comic Bill Burr wrote the initial draft of this spectacular joke. It turns out that the Netflix crew and the roast contacted the owner of the UFC after Brady called Dana White and got his approval for the roast. However, their gags fell short of the multibillionaire brand builder’s expectations.

He went to the vast network of well-known comedians he could get in touch with. And Bill Burr was one of them. Speaking about his experience on the Netflix live program, White discloses that he called a number of friends and acquaintances who are comedians and who assisted him in coming up with jokes about Brady.

 

Even Dana White claims that it was among the hardest things he has ever completed. He has also been bullied and swum with sharks in the ocean.
