The WNBA has been overtaken by the Caitlin Clark phenomenon. Record numbers of people watch Indiana Fever games, and teams are venturing beyond of tiny arenas to play games for crowds of 20,000–20,000k fans. Clark’s performances are drawing large crowds of fans, to the point where the Fever rookie is even selling out road arenas. Everyone participating in the league is gradually growing accustomed to this overall growth. At a press conference held after the game, Clark recently discussed the topic.
At a packed State Farm Arena, the Indian Fever recently defeated the Atlanta Dream 91-79. Following the game, Clark talked about what it’s like to play on the road in NBA arenas that are packed.
She said,
“Last couple of years, I’ve played in front of sold-out crowds and these types of environments, so, for me, it’s not that different.”

But Clark isn’t letting any of this pass him by. She also discussed how the presence of Fever supporters in away arenas benefits her and the squad. She said,
“There aren’t many cheering against us and that certainly helps. And for me, a lot of that was the same in college other than the IU fans. They were pretty crazy.”
Speaking with media before of Sunday’s big game against the Chicago Sky, Clark stated that the only thing that surprises her is that the game is being played at Wintrust Arena rather than the United Center. Whatever the case, she is quite excited to perform in front of 10,387 fans.
Clark is an expert at making the most of large crowds. The former standout for the Hawkeyes claimed that she actually thrives on the atmosphere of large crowds and is unaffected by them.
