The idea of talent and opportunity going to waste drives me up a wall. It makes me sick.
There is nothing worst to me than a kid getting a chance to change his life and watching him throw it away.
Isaiah Crowell is currently on that path of destruction.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, University Of Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell was arrested early Friday morning on three weapons charges, two which are felonies. He remains locked up at this time.
The talented but troubled sophomore was booked at 3:37 a.m. on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, and carrying a weapon in a school zone.
Crowell was the consensus number 1 rated overall prospect coming out of high school in 2011 and was projected to start this coming season.
He led the Bulldogs in rushing last year despite missing parts of three games due to disciplinary reasons including a failed drug test.
University of Georgia policy states that any felon arrest warrants immediate suspension.
In my opinion Crowell has played his last game as a Bulldog and that in itself is a shame.
