Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a concussion in the third quarter of the Chiefs divisional round match-up versus the Cleveland Browns.
The play that caused the concussions seemed harmless on the surface, it was not until Mahomes tried to get up from the tackle that it became apparent that he may be in a concussed state. He got up from the turf stumbling if not for his teammate being nearby, he may have fell back on the ground.
The hit was overall clean and no flags were thrown.
That didn’t prevent Patrick Mahomes mother from calling out Mack Wilson, the player who made the tackle on the play, and reminding him “evil never wins.”
