This is a sad story.
Domestic abuse is something that should be taken very seriously and CTE as well in ex-NFL players. Michael Bennett has struggled since leaving the NFL.
He was sentenced to five years in jail for fraud.
Former NFL running back Michael Bennett has been sentenced to five years in prison as part of a plea deal stemming from burglary and identity theft charges in a 2015 incident.
Per Filipa Ioannou of the San Francisco Chronicle, Bennett pleaded no contest to the charges after he fraudulently took out more than $225,000 in loans using the names of his girlfriend’s parents.
Bennett stole documents belonging to his girlfriend’s parents from their house while living on their property to take out loans against their house.
This same girlfriend Katie Salazano is now accusing him of domestic violence and blaming the NFL for it.
In a lengthy IG post she outlines the living hell she has been put through.

Oh and btw they do NOT test for behavioral issues in the concussion settlement. They are hiding this side. Bc they don’t want the world to know that they are taking the largest, strongest, fastest, most athletic and physically fit men IN THE WORLD and turning them into actual psychopaths that do this to their loved ones.
He is 42 now, and it now presents as schizoaffective disorder with delusions of morbid jealousy and persecutory paranoia. There is no more Michael left.
