After being sued by the family of Playboy employee Kimberly Fattorini, Ex NFL Player Shawne Merriman denies playing a role in her death.
Merriman says the lawsuit is costing him jobs and defaming his character saying
“I realize the Plaintiffs must be suffering greatly, but do not have any idea why they are defaming me by making false accusations in the press and in public pleadings and causing me economic harm.”
“Until the tragic death of Kimberly Fattorini made the newspaper, I was a sports commentator on a variety of television shows. I was also a motivational speaker, especially addressing the topic of overcoming adversity.”
The death was ruled an accidental overdose but the parents of Fattorini feel like Merriman, the nightclub and other because they say she was drugged and possibly assaulted.
