Dylan Roof got beat up by an inmate in jail and the Internet rejoiced. In fact, some people were so happy that they started an online fund for inmate Dwayne Stafford to reward him for his actions.
Stafford was in jail for over a year facing charges of strong armed robbery and assault, with a bond set at $101,000. But thanks to an out pouring of online donations, he was able to post bond and gain his release.
What Stafford is accused of is not cool, but perhaps his apparent act of chivalry will become the first step in turning his life around.
