Sydney Sweeney has responded to criticism of “Euphoria” and defended her contentious part in the program. On Sunday, May 31, Sweeney, 28, posted a carousel of images from the HBO series’ set on Instagram along with the caption, “It’s called… acting”.
Sweeney is seen wearing minimal clothing and posing provocatively in a number of the images. In the highly talked-about show, the actress portrays Cassie Howard, who joins OnlyFans and engages in a raucous sex scene with a movie star played by Homer Gere.
For the third season of the show, Sweeney has shot numerous topless and nearly nude scenes. This is not to argue that she hasn’t had sensual interactions in the past. In Season 2, Cassie lay naked on a bearskin rug, while in Season 1, she reached her climax on a carousel ride in front of spectators.
However, Scooter Braun, her lover, is one person who supports her. According to an exclusive insider who spoke to Page Six, the music producer is completely in favor of the actress, despite the explicit sequences for which she has gained notoriety on HBO’s popular drama series.
