The New York Giants have gone on a recent win streak after a 1-7 start the regular season. They have gone 4-1 since including a win over the NFC North leader Chicago Bears who are playoff bound. There are reports that quarterback Eli Manning will be welcomed back as the starting quarterback for the 2019 season after nearly getting benched in consecutive seasons for his poor play.
In a rout against the Washington Redskins, the Giants got a chance to see their 4th round pick backup quarterback Kyle Lauletta and according to SNY, he left little to be desired after going 0-5 and hasn’t convinced the Giants to move on from Manning. Many expect the Giants to use an early draft pick on a quarterback who could potentially replace Manning.
Unfortunately for Giants that were looking for a new quarterback to throw passes to Odell Beckham Jr., it appears they will have to wait yet another season for that change.
