This is much better idea than him getting back into the boxing ring. For those who don’t know Tyson has always had a love for birds, pigeons specifically.

The Animal Planet according to ContactMusic.com has green lighted a reality show called “Take on Tyson”.

Where they follow Tyson around New York and he put his pigeons in competition with the “best racing pigeons” owners in the NYC.

Tyson told the New York Post:

“I may have stopped fighting. But I never stopped flying birds. It’s my first love.”

I had no clue competitive pigeon racing was a sport. If Tyson was in the NFL Roger Goodell would suspend him for two years, but I digress.

Filming is scheduled to start next month and the show will debut early in 2011.
