Considering the client I think Drew Rosenhaus did an incredible job getting T.O. gigs. He got the Cowboys deal after Owens talked his way out of Philly. He got the Bills and Bengals deal when there was literally no market for Owens.
Rosenhaus is good, but he couldn’t keep making wine out of water. Unlike some of T.O.’s associates it doesn’t appear that they parted on bad terms.
“There’s really only one team left in the Bay Area who I haven’t played for that really at this point in time is a viable option and that’s the Oakland Raiders,” he said. “Given the opportunity if that’s on their radar for me to come in and help them win some ball games and ultimately help them try to win a championship then I’ll take that challenge on. I definitely feel I have a lot of football left in me. I think Carson knows that.”
Owens also disclosed that he “parted ways” with longtime superagent Drew Rosenhaus, and is currently without representation.
Maybe if Al Davis was still alive T.O. might have gotten a shot, but I think Owens has played his last game in the NFL.
